August 11, 2010 It is with a sad heart and tears in my eyes that I write of the passing of my “Jewel”. Jewel was our first Tibbie girl, our second champion, my first champion, our foundation bitch and Alpha Bitch to the last day of her life. Mary & I were very fortunate to receive Jewel from Mallory. I know Mallory and Kay were happy to get rid of the noisy puppy from their hotel room at the 1999 Westminster Dog Show. Jewel only had two litters, but from those two litters there were eight champions and one little girl Sassy with 14 points and four majors who get lost in 2002 in the woods her Dam is now buried in. I know Jewel is joining the other wonderful Tibbies who passed over the Rainbow Bridge recently. I can just see her and Zima and Meagan and her daughter Divine and Sassy playing a great game of Tibbie chase. I wonder who is in the lead? Rest in peace my Jewel. For the love of Tibbies and one very special Jewel, Harold
